Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

Transformational Leadership

  • Communicate a clear vision of the future: discuss, explain and actively promote the vision within own team, to peers and customers

  • Represents SAP Services also beyond his/her area of responsibility to customer management up C-levels and Business Unit Leaders and be able to influence their decisions. Takes over appropriate responsibility for customer issues, concerns and complaints and drives them to resolution.
  • One SAP Services ambassador between Professional Services and Services Sales


Other Management Tasks

  • Main point of contact for global, regional and market units’ teams for Premium Engagements
  • Active support in entire Sales and Delivery Engagement
  • Ensures every Engagements has a proper governance established and reporting to the customer C-levels
  • Ensuring realization of the sector margin targets (Premium Engagements)
  • Work closer to the Innovation team to ensure the PE teams are knowledgeable about new innovation services
  • Structure, development and effective management of a strong premium engagement team in the Market Unit
  • Visions, analyses, prioritizes facilitates and manages practice activities on a geography scale
  • Develop and manage practice growth and skill sets
  • Lead knowledge management initiatives regarding the development and use of intellectual property
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives (i.e. Focus Groups, Moderators, Mentoring, Education, etc.)
  • Realization of Market Unit KPIs including Customer Satisfaction, Dilution and CoE Share
  • Supply, Demand and Forecast (skill gap planning) Management
  • Resource allocation management of TQMs and EAs assignments
  • Coordination of staffing in close contact with Management
  • Harmonize decisions across multiple opinions across competing organizations
  • Support SAP Services Related Systems and other Internal systems (i.e. Ptd and internal systems for operating our services)
  • Responsible for managing internal projects and Identifying of training needs for strategic areas

Financial Management Reporting based on Utilization, Forecast, and Budgeting


Experience & Language Requirements

  • Min. 8 years’ experience in an Expert position in the operational business
  • Ability to drive execution within area of responsibility and experience in aligning cross-topic objectives & approaches
  • Experience in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & programs
  • Solid knowledge in SAP solutions and respective industry business process understanding
  • Demonstrated experience in customer interaction at C-Level
  • Experience in negotiation and solving conflicts and managing escalations
  • Experience in difficult conversations
  • Experience in leading onsite and remote teams
  • Experience in decision making within own area of responsibility / engagements


English: Fluent


Education

University degree (e.g. business administration, computer sciences, economics, engineering) or equivalent

Desirable postgraduate diploma in business administration or computer sciences.


Professional Training & Certification

  • Training in Acting as a Manager (e.g. leading a team, cascading strategy, people development, internal processes & tools)
  • Certifications in SAP Solutions, SAP Methodologies and Industry Certifications related to Services Business
